Robbed at La Marina beach

I was recently robbed while walking back from the beach at La Marina. A youth approached me and made a grab for my 9ct rose gold neck chain and fob medal. The chain broke and he ran off with the neck chain. This is both a warning to others and a plea to please be observant. Don’t wear expensive jewellery while on holiday, especially on or near the beaches of the Costa Blanca. These opportunist thieves cause endless upset to those affected. In my case the jewellery had been passed down from previous generations and cannot be replicated. If anyone should see this item in a local shop or be offered it please contact the newspaper or the police. The medal/fob had the initial RB in script letters.

Thank You
Robert Burrow
