‘Unfair market practices’ over Covid testing for travellers

The UK’s competition watchdog has agreed to look into the cost of Covid-19 testing for travellers after health secretary Sajid Javid complained over the high prices for the government-mandated tests.

Mr Javid said he asked the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to crackdown on unfair market practices by test providers.

Costa Blanca News has received a number of complaints over the system from travellers to the UK who have not received tests results back from the companies or who were charged ‘rip off’ prices.
