  1. I am an expat and would only have my own welfare in mind when voting, and not the welfare of the people who live in Britain. Why then should I be allowed to vote in a referendum that is no longer a concern to me and may be detrimental to the to the English people. I have a choice to live in the sun or go back to England if things go pear-shaped and so does everyone else.

  2. Firstly I’d like to point out that I own a property in Spain and my wife and I split our time between it and our house in the UK. Although there is an awful lot of uncertainty regarding the forthcoming referendum I will be voting to leave the EU. I make this choice because I think it will be far better for Britain not because it might benefit me personally. When in Spain we often hear other expats stating that they’d “never return to the UK” so if this is the general census of these people why do they not take citizenship in their chosen new country?
