Valencia’s president Ximo Puig said yesterday that the region would be in a position to ‘comply with the criteria set by the national government for the start of the de-escalation’.
Sr Puig was referring to the gradual easing of lockdown measures, which is being envisaged by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
Sr Puig stated that 337 municipalities in the region – which is 62% of the total – have not registered any new cases of coronavirus in the last two weeks.
