A gang which was smuggling methamphetamine in blocks of marble has been busted in an operation run by the National Police, Guardia Civil and the tax authority.
Officers seized 752 kilos of the drug ‘in a pure state’, the largest ever haul in Spain.
The smugglers were based in Alicante province.
