Regarding Tony Broadbent’s letter…

I refer to Tony Broadbent’s letter in Friday’s CBN and I must say that I totally agree with him and it is about time that someone introduced some facts into the argument, rather than the nonsensical drivel normally raised.
Well done, it is something readers should cut out & stick on their fridge as a reminder when the people’s vote has finally been resolved!

Hmm, you appear to have read a different letter from T Broadbent than I did – the one I read was typical of the brexiter side of the campaign, lies rather than facts, exaggerations and irrelevancies rather than evidence. Brexit has been most notable for brexiters telling ever more blatant and easily-disprovable lies and stranger still, being more than willing to believe them. No wonder the Remain camp have been able to pursue a second referendum with their emphasis on facts and truth.
