I wrote to Senor Linares (Mayor of Moraira) last October reference the Oktoberfest – no reply received. The Costa Blanca News printed my letter in the October 13-19 issue last year. I contacted Laura Hillstead in July this year asking if she could take a look at my complaints- no reply. I returned from the UK last Friday and wrote again to Laura (dropping the letter into The Lion’s den on Tuesday morning) – no reply.
How does one go about getting hold of the “right” person who can give me answers? I would like to know if any of my concerns have been taken on board; if anything has been altered for residents’ benefit?
Have just got to Page 37 of today’s edition of the CBNews (last week) to see that the Oktoberfest is scheduled to go ahead – at the same location, Les Sorts Car Park, for the same duration, three days and once again starting at 12 noon on Friday. No one listening to residents’ concerns. I shall be leaving town for three days – last year was a nightmare.
