Christmas Day on the beach was brilliant as ever. It is sad that your piece on this did not include the fact that the Orihuela Band with singers added greatly to the atmosphere. They and the council should be congratulated for this.
Can I also please mention that cigarette ends are not biodegradable. They contain plastic and should be removed with litter, not stuck in the sand (or left on the pavement etc) with the potential to harm marine and/or other wildlife.
