We have lately witnessed the spectacle of Conservative supporters writing to newspaper editors proclaiming that Jeremy Corbyn would be a disastrous PM. They may be right – certainly they should know one when they see one. Their last two have amply demonstrated the requirements:
David Cameron, probably going down in history as the only Government leader to organise a referendum, then failing to win it.
Theresa May, comically a Remainer, now posing as the UK’s Brexit champion while trying to bring to heel a cabinet of back-stabbers, ambitious incompetents and closet knife-wielders.
