A devastating forest fire is burning out of control in Valencia province – close to the border with Alicante province.
The blaze at Llutxent started on Monday and has burned 2,600 hectares of land so far, according to state news agency EFE.
They noted that around 20 properties have been affected in Gandía municipality and a number of people have been evacuated, including the village of Pinet.
