Get used to it: we will hearing little else until the Referendum. Ignore it, but it will not go away. Listen to all sides before you decide – not that it matters if we long-stay expats don’t get to vote!

To quote from an article in the Sunday Times: “In a bleak assessment of the future of expats after a Brexit, a UK government document presented to parliament last month said none of the rights to work, reside, own property or find a doctor would be guaranteed. “There would be no requirement under EU law for these rights to be maintained if the UK left the EU,” the document said.

Residents rabbit on about voting for OUT in order to stop the flow of migrants into UK – well if we are out it is we Brits who will be the immigrants and the Spanish will have the same right to say who can enter and who can stay.
