THE AMBULANCE service is Orihuela Costa is failing local residents and has to be improved, say council chiefs.

Health councillor Noelia Grao admitted on Wednesday that the town hall has asked the regional health authority on several occasions to post an additional ambulance to Orihuela Costa – or to make the paramedic (SAMU) service available 24-hours a day.
