The Vera naturist community held its annual nudist run last weekend aimed at promoting “respect and tolerance” between nudist and ‘textile’ communities.
Held a week after Cuevas del Almanzora banned nudism on all its beaches, the run has been hailed by participants as an example of naturist acceptance in Vera.
The event attracted a crowd of spectators but only about 30 brave nudists lined up at the starting line, causing the route to be reduced from an original planned 6.6km to a 15-minute run round the block.
