Residents on a street in Vera were woken early last Sunday morning after a car crashed into two of their cars parked on the road outside their homes.
Gareth Foster, who lives on Calle Luis de Gongora, had the front right wing of his Opel Antara smashed in, after the offending vehicle clipped the side of the car parked in front and careered into his before fleeing the scene.
Mr Foster, who was enjoying a Sunday morning lie-in at the time (8.30am) said he was woken by a “loud crunch”. After initially thinking something had “dropped off the back of a lorry”, he quickly realised someone must have hit his car.
