Migrant centres in the province are “overflowing” this month after a further influx of people attempting to enter Spain illegally from north Africa.

Government representative for Andalucía Antonio Sanz said 19 migrant boats have been picked up in the Alboran Sea so far this month, with a total of 400 people rescued in one week.
