A Vera boy who has survived two aggressive brain tumours and who celebrated his fourth birthday this week has been diagnosed with a new tumour.
The family received the news minutes after announcing on local radio the happy conclusion to a Carboneras-Villaricos fundraising marathon run by family friend Mickeila Parsons that raised more than €5,000 for Leo’s care and rehabilitation.
Now the money will be put towards the expense of seeking the best treatment for Leo, most probably abroad.
