A group of 35 people from Almería were trapped in Istanbul airport en route for Japan during the night of the failed coup in Turkey last weekend.
The travellers, all from the Unicaja foundation employees’ association, had departed from Málaga airport on the evening of Friday July 15 and were waiting to take a connecting flight to Tokyo for a holiday in Japan.
