The number of British residents has fallen to lowest level in almost a decade

The number of British residents in the province of Almería has been plummeting since 2012 and is at its lowest level in a decade, according to figures released by the government statistics office (INE) this week.

In the last three years 30 per cent of the British population have left the province. There were 15,521 British nationals registered as living in Almería province at the end of 2015. This compares to the 15,058 British nationals registered as living here in 2007.
