Apart from untold wealth, excellent connections, good looks and palatial homes I can’t think of a single thing he’s got that I haven’t. Anyway, despite my affection towards the happy couple enough already with the news coverage. Newspapers and online news sites are tripping over themselves to bring us acres of newsprint of no great consequence about the forthcoming nuptials.
So, recently we’ve had stories about invites being sent out, Harry missing the FA Cup Final, plans for bachelor and bachelorette parties, the floral displays that will grace St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, Meghan’s wedding day hair and the silver-plated trumpets being crafted to herald the event. It’s turning into one big yawn fest. The rate print journalists are going they’ll have used up all the ‘stories’ by the time 19 May comes around and there’ll be even less for broadcasters to say that’s actually new during live coverage of the day.
