King begins investiture meetings

King Felipe VI has this morning held the first meetings with parliamentary political party leaders ahead of a new investiture vote – which now has a good chance of being a success thanks to the PSOE decision to abstain during the vote.
Our photo shows King Felipe with the representative of the Nueva Canarias Pedro Quevedo, the first to meet the monarch at 9.30 this morning. The series of meetings will end tomorrow with representatives of the larger political parties including PP and PSOE.
