Bittersweet symphony

The Torrevieja symphony orchestra has warned that the future of their concerts is in serious doubt, after revealing that from now on any association or organisation wishing to use the international auditorium will have to pay about €3,000 in rent and provide whatever human resources are necessary, including ushers and cleaners, etc.

The orchestra says this would be ‘impossible’ for them and is holding crunch talks with authorities to see what can be done.
