Thirteen Erasmus university students of six different nationalities died in a bus accident in Freginols (Tarragona) yesterday (Sunday).

The bus was returning to Barcelona from the Fallas fiestas in Valencia when it left the road, crashed and turned on its side. Drug and alcohol tests on the driver gave negative results and the initial investigation claims he may have fell asleep at the wheel.

Seven of the fatal victims are Italian, two Germans, one French, one Romanina, one Austrian and one from Uzbekistan.
