Inland motorway work halted

WORK on the construction of the central motorway on the Barranc de la
Batalla section near Alcoy has been suspended by the company carrying
out the work because of a government announcement that all payments due
in 2010 would be suspended until 2012.

Dead men found at sea

off the coast of Jávea on Wednesday after the crew of a leisure boat

'Comité de Expertos del Pacto Antitransfuguismo' declared that the 12
socialist councillors in Benidorm who changed colours and with the aid
of former PP councillor José Bañuls to form a non aligned party and
seize power are in every sense renegades (transfugos).
