Aqualandia-Mundomar gets 10-year lease on Terra Mítica theme park with an option to buy

THE AQUALANDIA-Mundomar leisure park group has successfully bid for the right to take over the running of Terra Mítica for the next 10 years, with the option to purchase the theme park outright if it is thought to be economically viable.

The regional economy council made the announcement on Tuesday, officially putting an end to attempts by Parques Reunidos and Aspro to gain control of the park.
