Jellyfish scare'Highly dangerous' jellyfish from faraway seas swarm into Dénia
By Samantha Kett and Tom Cain The Carybdea Marsupialis is currently being investigated by a team from Alicante University, which says the creatures are 'very dangerous' and that their sting is 'extremely painful'. They first appeared in the same area in 2008, when more than 2,000 bathers were treated for jellyfish stings by the Red Cross over the course of the summer.
