Expat assistance at your fingertips

Representatives of AECC, MABS, The Royal British Legion, the Royal Airforce Association and other expat organisations, along with Costa Blanca News, attended the presentation on Tuesday of the new expat help service at the British consulate installed by the Valencian regional government.

The presentation was made by acting British consul in Alicante Lloyd Milen and regional councillor of solidarity and citizenship Rafael Blasco

How do we contact this expat help service as we have had no water for 3 days and this is happening all the time. The water company the council and the current providers will not come to an agreement and we the residents suffer

Expat welcome groups
We are a couple in our thirties who have just arrived and would love to know if there is an expat welcome group in this area (Elche/Gran Alacant/Alicante), as there are in some other parts of the country. We don´t really know anyone yet and it would be great to meet some friendly faces who are "in the know" about how things are done here. Thanks!

Hi Debbie, I can see by your comment that you have done your homework about life in Spain then. You really should have research all about the area that you intend to move to, instead of moving then asking questions like you have. 
 
Its normal now for Brits to leave their brian at Dover, if they had any to start with....
