UK police Costa manhunt

Wanted in connection with huge heroin smuggling operation

MULTILINGUAL posters and flyers are to be distributed across Alicante Province in the hope of tracing a man wanted by UK detectives in connection with a multi-million-pound heroin smuggling operation.

Shashi Dhar Sahnan (51), who is subject to a European Arrest Warrant, is wanted in connection with the importation of significant quantities of high grade heroin into the United Kingdom.

Detectives believe Sahnan is currently in the Alicante area and are appealing for the public's help in locating him.

Dozens of posters are being put up across the province with an image of Sahnan, in the hope that someone will recognise him and come forward and let officers know of his whereabouts.
