Calpe coastline headache solvedMayor reaches agreement with ministry over controversial land-sea borders
By Tom Cain Ministry spokeswoman Alicia Paz Antolín said the zone had been decreased to 20 metres in the areas of Partidas Bassetes, Calalga, Maryvilla and Canuta because they are classified as urban zones. The news brought relief to many people living in the affected zones who were under the threat of losing their homes if the original 100-metre limit had been imposed.
