A nine-year-old boy was rescued by fire crews last week after getting his leg stuck between iron railings during playtime at his school in Vélez-Málaga. Staff called for help after soap and water failed to free the youngster. Finally, a release jack, usually used after road accidents, separated the bars and released the victim whose leg was bruised but who was otherwise fine.
