Alejandro Herrero of the PSOE is the new mayor of Frigiliana. A censure motion on Monday forced out the Partido Popular’s José Antonio González after the town’s three Partido Andalucista councillors switched their allegiance. Herrero, aged 46, who works for Unicaja and is married with a four-year-old son, headed the socialists’ list of candidates at the municipal elections last year.
