Three men were detained last week in the act of stealing 240 kilos of mangoes from a farm in Vélez-Málaga. Police were alerted to their presence by a neighbour who had spotted them and their vehicle on land between Cajiz and Almayate. Officers found they had broken through a perimeter fence and already had six sacks full of fruit loaded into their van.
