The new ITV (MOT) vehicle inspection centre being built in Mijas is on track to open this summer, though no specific date has been set by the Junta de Andalucía, said town hall officials last week. They said construction of the building and access roads is essentially complete, with the facility now needing to be equipped. The centre will serve Mijas, Benalmádena and Fuengirola.
