The best dinosaur footprint ever discovered on the Iberian peninsula has been found 40 kilometres north of Barcelona. The 230 million year old fossil is thought to have been made by an Isochirotherium, a reptile-like ancestor of present-day crocodiles. The state of conservation is said to be exceptional, and includes details of the creature’s claws and skin.
