Mijas local police last Wednesday caught three men who were allegedly poaching sea cucumbers near the Oeano Beach hotel. The officers spotted the men toting three large buckets of the marine animals, which are not protected species but are prohibited for sport or commercial fishing. The officers returned the creatures to the sea.
