Eight senior figures from Spain’s financial sector have been named in an investigation into the disastrous flotation of Bankia in 2012. On Monday, the National Court listed Miguel Angel Fernández Ordóñez, former governor of the Bank of Spain, and Julio Segura Sánchez, former president of market regulator CNMV, amongst those to appear in court to be questioned. No-one has yet been charged with any offence.
