A suitcase found chained to a railing triggered a complete evacuation of Nerja’s Balcón de Europa on Tuesday afternoon. Following protocol, the specialist Tedax unit was alerted and sniffer dogs inspected the area. After about an hour a South Korean tourist came forward to claim the suitcase, telling police she had left it there while going for a meal.
