In the column this week the writer is very agitated that Australia might remove the Queen as Head of State. Why? It is the decision for Australia and only Australia.
As for writing of surprise at no reaction from the British Government, what is it to do with them? It is a long time since Australia was a colony, it is a young country and more than capable of making such decisions. Your writer is obviously happy to live in Ruritania. Good luck with that.
On another subject in the same column some weeks ago, the writer said that freedom was fine but with limitations. If you have limitations you do not have freedom.

D. Gabriel

  1. D Gabriel says if you have limitations you do not have freedom. Society could not exist without limitations. I do not have the freedom to take my neighbour’s car or his wife. In Spain I have to drive on the right hand side of the road. And so on.
