A rare sighting?

I live in Cap Marti, Jávea and walk our dog, Copper, around the local roads.
Our Sunday walk at 7am on 7th August was a first for two reasons.
We came across a pure white rabbit on ivy near the woods… It paused briefly, spotted Copper, and then disappeared into the trees.
(I think that Copper thought it was cat.)
We turned around for home onto Begonia and right across our path ran, what I assumed, was a stoat or a weasel.
These events are a first in our 14 years living here.
It just shows that there can be something new every day.
